As the saying goes: timing is everything.
Luan Rousseau was fed up with CodeTwo Email Signatures for Office 365 and had started asking around about competitive products so that he could do an email signature comparison when he came across our How to Install Exclaimer in under 25 minutes video, created by Paul Ogier.
As Luan tells it, he was already picking up his phone and searching for Paul’s number to tell him he was delusional, based on his own experience of installing CodeTwo, when he noticed the Exclaimer Cloud Signatures for Office 365 video was only 23 minutes long.
Luan is the IT Infrastructure Engineer for Transport Holdings. Transport Holdings provides domestic, cross border, and international logistics services to the Mining, Industrial, Retail and FMCG markets, and has 125 staff located in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.
They were not happy with the CodeTwo signatures for Office 365 that they were using. Their frustration stemmed from their experience that CodeTwo would mysteriously logout and they would have to keep logging in whenever the signatures stopped working. A frustrating and time-consuming exercise.
They battled with planning and implementing the banners for marketing for the next year so that they didn’t have to update the signature again. Additionally, they didn’t enjoy the design process of CodeTwo and found that the design process was time-consuming.
Luan was looking to have more control over the email signatures, when the signatures would be displayed and who gets what signature.

Transport Holdings’ IT staff were trained on how to make new signatures, edit signatures and how to make banners available for marketing for the next year.
Finally, we updated their SPF records to prevent their emails from being regarded as spam.
Luan is really enjoying the web interface, rather than the CodeTwo application on his local machine. This means he doesn’t have to log in to his machine from home to update signatures, as he has access to a portal now, and has full control and ownership over his signatures.
